Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which The Service Crew provides work. They do not replace a written quote or job agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.

Using this site

The content here is provided for information. We keep it accurate and current, but descriptions of services, availability and coverage areas may change without notice. Nothing on this site is a binding offer.

Quotes and estimates

Any figure given before we have seen the job is an estimate, not a fixed price. A firm price follows an assessment of the actual work. If what we find on site differs from what was described, we will tell you what changes and what it costs before continuing.

Scheduling and emergency work

We aim to attend within the window agreed when you book. Emergency callout is available 24 hours a day, and response times depend on location and current demand. We will tell you an honest arrival estimate rather than an optimistic one.

Insurance and standards

The Service Crew carries general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance, and is bonded. Work is carried out to applicable codes. Our licensing status with New Jersey Consumer Affairs is stated in the footer of every page on this site and is kept current.

Payment

Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice. Where work is completed and invoiced, payment is due by the date shown on that invoice.

Cancellations

Let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. Where materials have already been bought or a technician has been dispatched, reasonable costs may be charged.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from work performed is limited to the amount paid for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
