This policy explains what The Service Crew collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

What we collect

We collect information only when you choose to give it to us. If you submit a quote request or contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number, company name and message you enter. Nothing on this site collects personal information silently.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, how they arrived, and whether they submitted a quote request. It sets cookies to recognise a returning browser, and reports to us in aggregate. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not run remarketing, and we do not sell data to advertisers.

If you would rather not be measured, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on, and most browsers offer a Do Not Track or tracking-protection setting.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, quote and schedule the work you asked about, and keep a record of the job. That is all. We do not build profiles, and we do not use your details to market unrelated services.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are delivered to our email through Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service. They process the message in order to deliver it to us. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, for any purpose.

Aggregate usage data is processed by Google Analytics. That is site usage, not your enquiry: it does not receive the contents of your message.

We may share details with a technician assigned to your job, or where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to 12 months, in case you come back to us. Records relating to completed work are kept as long as required for tax, insurance and warranty purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@theservicecrew.co and we will action it. There is no form to fill in.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be summarised here rather than slipped in.
